Sunday 1st June saw the 4th and final BAA Clout Practice shoot.
As most attendees had now had some clout experience, so less instruction was needed, a double 140 clout was shot with Kalhan overtaking Reggie on the last end to win the day with a score of 127.
The BAA ‘Introduction to Clout’ sessions have been very well received by both new and experienced clout archers with a register of 88 across the series. It is hoped that the sessions will run again next year to introduce more archers to clout shooting as well as providing a bit of practise ahead of the annual clout championships.
Many thanks to South Bucks Archers, Shenley Archers and Newport Pagnell Archers who have hosted these sessions; Kevin Gray, Terence Williams and Alan Crowe who have supported with coaching and guidance and to everyone that came along.
