We are excited to invite you to the Buckinghamshire Archery Association County Championships and Open Shoot, this year hosted by Whiteleaf Bowmen (just outside High Wycombe) on Sunday, 6th September 2026. This year, the available rounds will be the Hereford / Bristol I and Bristol II. UK Record Status is currently being applied for. SCAS Inter-Counties 2026 - REPORT

Bucks AA Summer Postal - July Results
It's good to see more archers and teams participating. As per the rules dominant archers (this year from both recurve and barebow) have been selected to form two separate groups (M&F) and will compete across bowstyles using the AGB Handicap Tables. In addition, the remaining Men's recurve archers have been divided into two separate divisions. All other groups remain unchanged due to their relatively small sizes. Results for the trial Buckinghamshire Archery Association (BAA) WA720 incorporating 50+ Championship shoot attached. A closed shoot for BAA members with six of the eight county clubs represented. The day went very well with a good mix of experienced competitive archers and many who were shooting competitively for the first time. The weather was bright but very windy. SCAS Clout Champs 2026
Buckinghamshire Archery Association was pleased to host the SCAS Regional Clout Championships for the first time. Despite the challenges of local road closures, a village fete, a cycle race, M25 fires and bus replacement services, all attendees managed to arrive in time to start as planned. Bucks AA Summer Postal - May results
The rankings for May's National Rounds are now available to download from our website. June's rounds, to be shot between 1st and 21st of the month, are WA60m (Junior/Novice - Metric 122-40). Remember that the final positions will be based on an archer's FOUR BEST RESULTS, so if you missed May's round you can still put in a challenge since there are four months left.

Middx v Bucks Outdoor Friendly – RESULTS
Monday 25th May saw Buckinghamshire shoot against Middlesex in a double WA720 round at the Middx county champs. The Longbow team recorded a loss but the Recurve and Barebow teams won their matches resulting in an overall win for Bucks! Conditions were extremely testing on the day with temperatures reaching a record-breaking 34.8C and one Bucks team member suffering limb delamination at full draw so unable to complete the shoot. BAA Introduction to Clout series 2026
This year’s ‘introduction to clout’ series saw over 70 archers from around the county and beyond take part. 4 sessions were held, introducing many to clout archery for the first time while experienced clout archers were able to make adjustments to their equipment, check sight-marks and enjoy the opportunity to shoot more clout- one very keen archer attending all 4 sessions. 180y Clout session at Chesham Grammar - Sunday 17th May
