Two archers' scores were transposed on the submission form. This has now been corrected and the revised tables can be found under the "Winter Postal" tab on our website. There was no effect on the team scores.

These are now available to download from our website under the "Winter Postal" tab. March is the final month, and for the INDIVIDUAL ARCHERS their BEST FOUR RESULTS will be taken to determine the final positions. So there is still the opportunity to improve. Good luck.

Several BAA members took part in the 2 nd  county coaching session offered last weekend at the Lacey Green Village Hall. Bringing together seasoned and new coaches alike from across Buckinghamshire, it offered a great way for archers to get some one-on-one coaching. Covering a variety of topics as requested from the archers -- ranging from setting up your first sight to analysing bareshafts for equipment tuning -- there really was something for everyone to learn. The 2026 SCAS Senior & Junior Inter-Counties tournament will be held on 2nd August 2026 at Andover Rugby Football Club, Foxcotte Park, Andover. SP11 0TA. The Southern Counties Archery Meeting – “The Southern” – is the Championship Meeting for the Southern Counties Archery Society (SCAS). The meeting has been  held almost continuously since 1892 , when the Championship of the South was initiated. Today, this meeting incorporates a two-day Championship meeting, a traditional Longbow day, and a Handicap event, in which archers compete with scores adjusted for their current “handicap” (a measure of achieved performance).   All BAA

Over 100 archers have now submitted scores for this activity. It's also good to see a number of novice archers getting involved. Most impressive is that there are now twelve recurve teams. The results can be found on the home page of our website under the "Winter Postal" tab. Enjoy Christmas, but keep shooting.
