SCAS Regional Indoor Championships 2025

Bucks entered a recurve team for the SCAS Regional Indoor Championship 2025.

I joined Silver Arrow Archers as a full member in October this year which meant that I am now also a Buckinghamshire Archer.

I submitted scores for all the shoots I have taken part in and was really happy to be selected for the County Team to shoot at the Southern Counties Archery  Society (SCAS) Indoor shoot on Sunday 23rd November at the Places Leisure Centre in Eastleigh.

It was a fabulous venue, held in a really spacious and well-lit sports hall, with 25 targets being shot in my session (the 2nd of 3 sessions of the day), with four archers to a target, so a huge number of archers shooting together so there was a really brilliant atmosphere!

My team mates were John Murphy, Abhay Sood and Paul Kelly, they all made me feel really welcome and part of the team, there was a great feeling of camaraderie and I was really proud to be wearing my Buckinghamshire County top for the 1st time of hopefully many!

I really love taking part in external events, they are great fun and a good chance to meet lots of new people and catch up with familiar faces, all there to shoot their arrows and have a good time. Being part of the team made it even better, so thank you for having me as part of the squad!
